How to use a homeschool calendar

  1. Check your state's rules: many require around 180 days, some count hours, and some have no set number. Enter the number of days that applies to you.
  2. Choose a start date and your school days. A four-day week leaves Fridays free for co-op, field trips or catching up.
  3. Leave holidays off or keep them as school days; the finish date updates either way.
  4. Print the calendar and tick each school day as it is done. If you take an unplanned week off, change the start date to push the plan back and print again.

Yes, in most states. Set the start date and school days you like and the calendar shows when you reach your total; year-round schedules usually use shorter weeks with more breaks.
