Which 12-hour shift schedule has the most weekends off?
Of the four rotations here, for crew A in 2027: 2-2-3 26, DuPont 26, Pitman 26, 4-on-4-off 21 full weekends (Saturday and Sunday both off). Other crews can differ by a weekend or two.
Do all of these schedules average the same hours?
Yes. All four use 12-hour shifts with four crews, so each crew works half the days and averages 42 hours a week. They differ in how the days are grouped and whether crews rotate between days and nights.
